- Why would Jonas want to enter a race that guarantees second place when he can win elsewhere.Makes sense to me.
- Scared of Tadeg !
- Gee migbt be sitting on the sidelines next year with this stalemate!
- Jonas went wide, Gaudu risked the inside move and caught Pedersen off-guard. Gutsy and strong move. Win or crash.
- Jonas left a gap as wide as a barn door- Gaudu took it- great win!
- I’m sure everyone gets thieves are the bad guys buy why the comment? If we agree child molesters are a real problem, will you decide to leave your kids unattended at the playground?
Also, I can guarantee you, if you don’t lock up those bikes at all, you’ll discover there are a whole load more thieves in the world than you imagined.
So, the issue is, what is the right (amount of) security, and I’m pretty sure a guard with dogs in an enclosed space is far more efficient than any unattended locked box. Cars get stolen all the time when nobody is looking, very seldom when they’re guarded. These bikes are worth the same as basic cars, no wonder they’re popular with thieves.
- Seems even talented thieves are thick as two planks. Couldn’t fit more into their getaway car?
- What makes you understand that?
- My thought exactly. My initial thought was why don’t the race organizers/UCI rent space along the route. And as they don’t why not the teams hire private security? Or if the race organization doesn’t do it perhaps all the teams chip in for a collective secure site. But really individual teams providing their own security is not that hard to figure out. Even the dumbest criminals can coordinate and plan a theft from a such an easy vulnerable target due to lack of security.
- Yes, thieves should be booted into the sea.
