- MVDP doesn't have to sacrifice himself for GC riders so he doesn't. He absolutely rides for Philipsen when necessary so he's not not a team player. But Wout does whatever he needs to do for Jonas and in turn, it hurts his own goals. MVDP doesn't really seem to even care to be at the TdF. Nothing wrong with that, its just part of the job.
