Felipe Orts wins his sixth consecutive Spanish Cyclocross Championship

For more than five years, there has been no one to match the figure of Felipe Orts in Spanish cyclocross. The 28-year-old rider has once again swept the Spanish Championships, and has consequently proclaimed himself the winner of this 2024 edition after completing a stellar performance.

In this way, Orts adds his sixth Spanish champion title, and consecutively. He has won all editions since 2019 consecutively. The last time he did not win was in 2018, when he came second.

On January 1, the Spaniard began a new and exciting stage of his professional career. At the end of 2023, Felipe Orts left Burgos BH to create his own team, La Vila Joiosa-Neteo. His goal was to start with a big win in the national championships, and so it has been.

From the beginning to the end of the race, Orts rode solo. No one could match him, and he crossed the finish line with all the calm in the world after one hour and four minutes. Gonzalo Inguanzo took second place on the podium. Mario Junquera, third.
