Eli Iserbyt wins X2O Trofee Baal after Pidcock crashes in final lap

Eli Iserbyt has won the X2O Trofee Baal. He beat Tom Pidcock and Michael Vanthourenhout to secure his sixth victory of the season.

Lars van der Haar started nicely. Eli Iserbyt and Michael Vanthourenhout opted for an aggressive strategy in the hope of victory, as Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel were not present in the race.

The duo separated themselves from the group, and Pidcock soon joined them. The Brit was soon in the lead with a lead of 7 seconds. Jens Adams and Quinten Hermans fought for the fifth position, and Adams came out on top.

Iserbyt and Vanthourenhout caught up with the Brit in the final lap. Iserbyt soon extended his lead. He crossed the finish line and celebrated his sixth victory of the season. Michael Vanthourenhout took the silver. Tom Pidcock finished third.
