Dylan van Baarle has been riding a great Tour de France in full support of his leader Jonas Vingegaard so far. The Jumbo-Visma already applied pressure on their opponents multiple times in this year's Grande Boucle and another push is expected in Wednesday's queen stage featuring the Souvenir Henri Desgrange - Col de la Loze.
"I hope it won't be too long, but I think it will be nice for the audience to watch. They make life a bit difficult for us, but it's a great fight," said the Dutch champion.
Tomorrow the tough mountain stage with the very tough Col de la Loze at the end is on the program, a stage that should suit Vingegaard, so Jumbo-Visma may have evil plans. "We already discussed our plans in December. The focus was then a bit more on the classics, but slowly it moved more towards the Tour."

"We picked out a few rides for which we made a plan," he continues. "It is certainly a stage that should suit Jonas. We will see." The Dutchman is mysterious about the nature of the plan of the Dutch formation, which in the previous days mainly imposed a high pace on the peloton throughout the stage: "You will see that tomorrow," he concluded.
