Jonas Vingegaard decimated the field on the Tour de France's time-trial. The reigning champion and yellow jersey won his first stage in this edition and dealt a very important blow for the overall classification.
The jury has taken the following decisions on stage 16:
Stefan Küng (Groupama - FDJ): Unauthorized refuelling. 20 second penalty in overall classification, 200CHF fine.
TotalEnergies DS Benoit Genauzeau: Non-compliance with marshals' instructions. 200CHF fine.
