Since the arrival of new title sponsor, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe can no longer be seen as just "another" WorldTeam. At every race they aim for top placings and in that sense, the 2025 Paris-Nice is not different. After the stage 3 team time trial, Aleksandr Vlasov (5th) and Florian Lipowitz (6th) are within hand's reach of overall podium.
"I think we did a really good job," Lipowitz said of the performance of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe after the stage. "The whole team was super good today and we can be super happy with the result."
Besides moving up to sixth overall, Lipowitz now also leads the youth classification. "It’s always special to have a jersey but tomorrow is a climbing stage so we’ll see how that goes and whether we can defend the white jersey."
It's only Lipowitz debut at the French stage race, but the seventh man of last year's Vuelta can already aim high in the GC. "After last year, now I aim for a strong result in Paris-Nice. I would already be super happy with a top 10 but we’ll see how the shape is. So far, I haven’t done a lot of racing so I don’t know where I stand exactly. We’ll see tomorrow, it’s the first GC day."
