Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar, alongside Adam Yates, have been part of a dramatic breakaway fight on the 12th stage of the Tour de France, ultimately won by Ion Izagirre.
The hilly day into Belleville-en-Beaujolais saw action from start to finish, including a long-range attack from Mathieu van der Poel who was on the hunt for the stage win, but in the end Ion Izagirre proved the strongest on the day's climbs and won the stage.
