25 years ago, Marco Pantani made a historic recovery on Oropa to take the stage win. Now, it seems Tadej Pogacar may have to do something similar if he wants a stage win today. 
The overwhelming favourite has suffered a flat tyre and a minor crash in a disastrous preparation to the final climb of stage 2. See it for yourself down below!
