VIDEO: Spectator captures Remco Evenepoel's Il Lombardia crash

Remco Evenepoel has crashed in the early kilometers of Il Lombardia, a bad start for the Belgian who comes in with great ambitions to a race he has had problems in the past. A spectator caught the crash on video.

Evenepoel was right at the head of the peloton as the breakaway was forming itself, positioning was not a problem but bad luck still hit. He had a touch of wheels with UAE Team Emirates' Sjoerd Bax and crashed right in the front of the peloton, with a few other riders falling behind. The crash didn't lead to serious injuries, but a bruised Evenepoel may struggle to follow the best later on.
