Isaac del Toro has achieved his first victory in a WorldTour race in the second opportunity he has had in his career in the second stage of the Tour Down Under. The Mexican launched a beastly attack with one kilometer to go that no one could stop.
In fact, he allowed himself the luxury in the last meters to look back and stand up to raise his arms and show off his UAE Team Emirates jersey to enter the finish line. After finishing third at the Down Under Classic, it is nothing but an impressive few days for the 20-year old, who launched a move in a flat section.
There's no doubt that the Mexican rider is special. In 2023 he ended up winning the Tour de l'Avenir and 2024 he started it off with a podium in the Down Under Classic exhibition race and now with this win. You can check the impressive attack in the video below:
