VIDEO: Behind the scenes at Tadej Pogacar's home and training ride

In a video for Sigma Sports, Matt Stephens travelled to Monaco where he met up with Tadej Pogacar at the Slovenian's home. It was an interesting and new insight into the Slovenian's daily life, alongside a conversation through a training ride and lunch.
Some fun detals in his home settings made for a very surprising conversation where he revealed he had a Tour de France trophy in his nightstand, how he receives gifts from other friends in the peloton, and much more.

- I understand that there are things that are 'lost in translation' on a site like this, which don't necessarily have the budget for things like proofreading that larger publications have. My sense of humour may not be that funny after all, but I do seriously appreciate being able to view articles and and comment on them without having to pay a fee, which is increasingly rare these days..

- Funny he focused so much on that and didn’t mention the situation for Lotte at all. To be fair about the men thing, it might be a mechanical translation problem, I think in Dutch the size of a team or group of humans is expressed by the same word as the male sex, a bit like in English when you speak about humanity in relation to the planet you say man. We all know this cheapo freebie of a website has no proofreading budget and that kind of makes it more human and funny, also teaches you to read between the lines to understand what they’re trying to report often because so much is badly translated.Mistermaumau21-04-2025

- People were saying stuff like that years ago but in the meantime he’s proved himself often enough. Do you reallythink he’s going to stop working and improving until he can match the best? It’s just a matter of time.
