The
Modern Adventure Pro Cycling team is going to be on the road in 2026, it has been made official and the team has signed 20 riders for its debut season. The United States of America gain a new ProTeam, the second division of the sport, and feature a lineup including some very experienced figures, young talents and the returning
Leo Hayter who had been part of INEOS Grenadiers.
The formation, led by former American pro George Hincapie, has managed to gather itself a solid block into the upcoming season which will allow it to race a double calendar. Most likely, its focus will lie in the European calendar as the team seeks the experience, results and reputation.
But simultaneously, at ProTeam level, it should be allowed to race in the entire American calendar where it will aim to be one of the top teams. The team includes Leo Hayter, former INEOS Grenadiers rider, who had time off of the pro sport to battle mental illness but has returned to racing in recent months in an attempt to regain his level. The American team has bet on the 24-year old Briton.
The team features him and
Stefan de Bod as former World Tour riders, whilst plenty of other figures have experience racing at a high level including Israel - Premier Tech's
Riley Pickrell or Briton Mark Stewart. Scott McGill from Project Echelon Racing - as are several riders - brings in quality for the sprint races, whilst Byron Munton is a quality climber who has won a summit finish at the Volta a Portugal this year.
But the team isn't just summed up by experienced riders, but also young talents. The team has signed, from EF Education-EasyPost's development teams, Ian Lopez de San Roman and Harry Lasker; Whilst the team has also signed Cole Kessler from Lidl-Trek's development team.
