The season rolls on through a spring packed with Classics delivering racing to remember. Over the past week, the UCI Ranking shifted with points from the Tour of Flanders, Dwars door Vlaanderen, GP Miguel Induráin, and Paris-Camembert. The headline act, of course, was De Ronde, where Tadej Pogacar added a 12th Monument to his collection, extending UAE Team Emirates - XRG’s lead at the top.
With each passing week, the scrap to climb and avoid the drop tightens. But first, UAE Team Emirates - XRG. The Emirati squad has surged past 9,000 points and rules with an iron grip on top of the ranking, thanks largely to the 800 points delivered through Pogacar's Tour of Flanders triumph.
At De Ronde, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe also cashed in on Remco Evenepoel’s debut to reinforce second place ahead of Visma | Lease a Bike. The Belgian finished 3rd, worth 520 UCI points for the German team, who also profited from Gianni Vermeersch (10th – 135 points), Tim Van Dijke (11th – 110 points) and Laurence Pithie (14th - 65 points). The kiwi rider was even more successful at Dwars door Vlaanderen (5th place) earlier in the week, adding 180 UCI points to team's account.
Visma didn't waste much time in the battle for podium at UCI team ranking, driven primarily by Wout van Aert (4th at the Tour of Flanders, 2nd at Dwars door Vlaanderen). Christophe Laporte added 9th at Flanders (160 points) and 7th at Dwars (120 points). Even so, the gap to Red Bull has stretched from 400 to almost 500 over the past week.
Still on the rise is Decathlon CMA CGM. The French team climbs from 5th to 4th in the Ranking, moving ahead of XDS Astana Team. Oliver Naesen’s 13th at the Tour of Flanders was their standout, enough to overhaul the Kazakh team who have had little to look back at over the past week.
Bahrain Victorious keep proving one of the Ranking’s steadiest teams. They hold a 6th place thanks to Matej Mohoric’s Top 8 at Flanders (200 points), supported by Alec Segaert in 15th (55). Combined with some minor results, it was enough to keep the Middle-eastern team in the top-third of UCI ranking.
Behind, Jayco AlUla remain 7th, with Alpecin-Premier Tech right on their wheel. Mathieu van der Poel’s team sits on the Australian squad’s shoulder thanks to the Dutchman’s 2nd at Flanders (640 UCI points) and Jasper Philipsen’s 8th at Dwars (100 points). INEOS Grenadiers stay 9th, and Soudal Quick-Step move into the Top 10, jumping past Uno-X Mobility who were completely left out of the action at past weekend's Monument.

Battle for wildcards sees a shake-up

While the top end of the UCI team ranking remains mostly unchanged following the events of last week, major shifts have taken place at the bottom echelons of the cycling's highest division.
Side from the main event of last weekend, a stellar GP Miguel Induráin - where Ion Izagirre won (250 points) and Alex Aranburu arrived 4th (120 points) - saw Cofidis rocket up the rankings from 18th to 13th. But importantly, leapfrogging past both their Swiss rivals in a battle for automatic WorldTour wildcards in 2027.

Contrary, Tudor plummeted from 12th to 17th as bad luck caused important points slip through their fingers as Matteo Trentin crashed out of a very likely top-10 result at Tour of Flanders.
Suddenly, the fourth ProTeam, the Unibet Rose Rockets (21st) smell blood because both Tudor and Pinarello Q36.5 (15th) are no further than 200 UCI points off the French-Dutch formation.
