The UAE Tour is not having any of the 'big 4' this year when it comes to the fight for the overall classification, but UAE Team Emirates is still putting a lot of emphasis in bring a victory out of the race. Adam Yates headlines the charge for the home team.
Yates has just won the Tour of Oman, where the team dominated the fight for the overall classification. Last year's Tour de France podium finisher will have Brandon McNulty - winner of the recent Volta a Comunitat Valenciana - and Jay Vine alongside him. All three may be contenders for victory, as the GC should be decided up the climb to Jebel Hafeet and the individual time-trial.

Juan Sebastián Molano in the meantime will hunt for victories in the sprint, Ivo Oliveira being his leadout man. The experienced duo of Mikkel Bjerg and Vegard Stake Laengen will join the rest of the team to support both in the climbs and the flat stages.
