UAE Team Emirates host first 2023 team camp in mid-December

As the off-season turns into pre-season, riders are heading off of their holidays and back to work for the most part - where most will look to lose weight, get back to good form or even begin serious training for their first goals of the season.

One such team, UAE Team Emirates, have their plans firm and set, as they head to their first training camp from the 10th to the 21st of December in La Nucia Hills, Alicante. Throughout almost two weeks the new teammates will be getting to know each other, and there will be a lot of logistics and preparation work towards the coming season, aswell as a media day and some block training.

The camp will also serve to present Colnago's new road bike, and will be a hotspot for cycling attention. The month of December will see the Alicante region heavily filled as most World Tour teams will head off to the region to have their first big gatherings in good weather and favourable terrain for winter training - unlike their media camp in the UAE earlier in the fall which did not have riding in mind.

In the camp it is expected that all riders make their presence felt, including the likes of Tadej Pogacar and Juan Ayuso, but also new signings such as Adam Yates, Tim Wellens and Jay Vine.
