- Pretty sure he can win the Giro alone so long as Pogi isn't there. Pogi won it gearing his season on the TdF. He wasn't nearly at his best for the Giro. It was like he was just getting base miles and using the climbs as intervals. A peaked Jonas can do what Pogi did at the Giro. - Remco has not shown to be the best bike handler. lots of crashes, and look at him on the Giro gravel stage of a couple years ago. the last thing I would do is put him in Flanders on wet cobbles, where position matters. Or Strade Bianche. See Tadej's crash last year. he doesn't know any of those races, it isn't the time to experiment yet.mij21-01-2026
- it doesn't really take cycling IQ to state "I need to sit on the leaders wheels". it takes legs to do so. if I show up at the next race, if I position myself correctly, do I stand a chance just sitting on his wheel? to sit on someone's wheel, a rider needs the power to match every acceleration. Nys is an amazing rider, but has not shown he has that power. And has even admitted that he doesn't have it.mij21-01-2026
