Stage 3 of Paris-Nice 2026 brings the first major shake-up of the general classification as the peloton tackles the race’s decisive team time trial on Tuesday, 10 March.
The 23.5 km test between Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire and Pouilly-sur-Loire is expected to create the first meaningful time gaps among the overall contenders after two sprint stages opened the race.
Teams will roll down the start ramp at four-minute intervals, beginning with Team Picnic PostNL at 15:10 local time, while the yellow jersey squad EF Education - EasyPost will be the final team on the road at 16:34.
Several leading contenders for the overall classification will be hoping their teams can deliver strong performances in the discipline, including Team Visma | Lease a Bike, UAE Team Emirates XRG, Lidl-Trek and INEOS Grenadiers.

If the other riders close the gap, he needs to put evertyhing in one lethal attack and time trial home alone. If the others don't catch up, Lipo, his teammate, gains on all but Seixas and del Toro. He can sit in the third group for most of the final ascent with an excuse and then attack them with a few kilometres to go and gain time on everyone but Lipo, del Toro and Seixas. A double win for Red Bull. Instead, he makes sure all of them arrive at the same time. What a selfish idiot. Lipo has beaten him every time over the past year when they met. What an arrogant idiot.
