❌ It's a DNF for 🇬🇧 Simon Carr, the 3rd rider to leave the #GirodItalia
Following Robert Gesink and Eddie Dunbar, EF Education-EasyPost's Simon Carr has become the third rider to abandon at the 2024 Giro d'Italia.
The 25-year-old Brit had come into the opening Grand Tour of the year full of confidence after an impressive showing at the Tour of the Alps, where he took a stage win for the second year running. According to EF Education-EasyPost's official social media pages, "Simon Carr was forced to abandon the Giro d’Italia after suffering from knee issues. Join us in wishing Simon a speedy recovery."

- Pointless reporting. They are rivals, each tries their way to get their best result, with or without collaboration. As long as it’s all fair, why even report riders feelings about such stuff (yes I know, lack of other news). Anyone riding races will go through dozens of moments per race where they get emotional about the way someone else rides or takes advantage or doesn’t collaborate or more, it is natural, it is justified, it is NOT newsworthy!Mistermaumau17-11-2024
