Rumour surges of Nairo Quintana re-entering World Tour in 2024, replacing Mikel Landa at Bahrain

Nairo Quintana is still without a team. He has been in Andorra for weeks training with different cycling partners and has surged as a rumour to be joining Bahrain - Victorious, albeit in 2024.

Thus, the only thing there is regarding the future of the Boyacá rider are speculations coming from Colombia. The latest would end with the Colombian climber back at Bahrain Victorious, as it is said that Mikel Landa could be on his way out. The team currently hosts a large array of climbers also including Pello Bilbao, Jack Haig, Gino Ma¨der, Damiano Caruso and Santiago Buitrago who is fresh off a podium at Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

The reason is that his former Movistar Team teammate Mikel Landa finishes his contract at the end of 2023 and there are several teams interested in acquiring his services (INEOS Grenadiers, Trek-Segafredo and Astana), which would leave a gap in the squad for 2024, in which, according to the colleagues of Antena 2, Nairo Quintana could enter.
