Roglic's unshaved legs steal the spotlight in his comeback race - "I'll wait a little longer"

Primož Roglič makes a strong comeback at Tirreno-Adriatico, after an absence of almost six months from racing and shows impressive form in the opening stage of the Italian race, albeit earlier than expected.

His season opener was meant to be at Volta a Catalunya, but Jumbo Visma made a last-minute decision to switch him to Tirreno-Adriatico, “It's nice to be back,” Roglič said after the second stage, where noticeably he had his legs unshaved, providing for an unfamiliar sight in pro cycling.

On the third stage of the race Jumbo-Visma tried to assault the overall classification with a late attack on a crosswind section where Roglic was present alongside several teammates. The move was unsuccessful, but was another strong test and display of power and tactics from the Dutch team.
