Riejanne Markus takes time-trial victory at the Dutch National Championships

After finishing 2nd at the 2022 Dutch National Championships individual time-trial, Riejanne Markus has gone one better in 2023, taking the title by 55 seconds.
The Jumbo-Visma rider won the national road race title last year she has now ensured she will continue to wear a Dutch national jersey into next year. On the 42km course, Markus was a relatively comfortable winner ahead of second-placed Demi Vollering and third-placed Annemiek van Vleuten, competing in her final National Championships.
