Just 19 years of age,
Joshua Tarling has claimed the biggest win of his career to date, taking the individual time-trial title at the British
National Championships.
The rider from the
INEOS Grenadiers became the youngest Paris-Roubaix competitor in 86 years earlier this year and his stock continues to rise in the cycling world with this latest achievement, averaging 50.498 kilometres an hour in the process.
Finishing over a minute ahead of second-placed rider
Fred Wright, Tarling's victory was dominant. For Wright, it is yet another second-placed finish as he continues to search for his first career victory. Rounding out the podium was another INEOS Grenadiers rider,
Connor Swift.
