Remco Evenepoel returns to top step as he wins aggressive Belgian national championships

Remco Evenepoel crashed in the time-trial, but he has made up for the disappointment at the national championships as he soared to the win in the road race, hence taking on another set of colours on top of his rainbow jersey.

Evenepoel attacked together with Alec Segaert towards the end of the road race, which saw plenty attacks from start to finish. The Soudal - Quick-Step rider has won for the second time since abandoning the Giro d'Italia. Jasper Stuyven sprinted to third place completing the podium.
