Not for the first time, the time-trial world champion Remco Evenepoel and the dual discipline world champion, Mathieu van der Poel have been spotted training alongside one another.
Both have already had notable successes in 2024, van der Poel taking his 6th Cyclocross World Championship win in Tabor, whilst Evenepoel recently claimed overall victory at the Volta ao Algarve in Portugal.
Posting to his official Strava account, Evenepoel has shown off a 98.59km training ride, covered in just a touch over three hours in Calpe, Spain. Notably, with an image of Freddy Ovett riding alongside van der Poel.
The spring program of van der Poel is not yet fully known although the Dutchman have recently been seen posting some very impressive number whilst climbing the Coll de Rates. Evenepoel meanwhile will soon divert his attention towards Paris - Nice at the start of March.
