Profiles. In the run-up to the Tour de Suisse riders will have an extra chance to prove their worth. The GP des Kantons Aargau will take place on the 9th of June and will suit the puncheurs and classics riders.
The 176-kilometer race is one that, as every year, favours the classics riders. A very open race where the puncheurs, climbers and some sprinters all have chances of succeeding. There will be 7 laps of a hilly circuit which includes a 7.1-kilometer climb at 3.7%, a 500-meter climb close to the finish with 8% of gradient. Even if the race doesn't blow apart and get decided there, the run-up to the line in Leuggern is also in a tough uphill drag.
