Preview: From June 7th to 11th, the
ZLM Tour unfolds, offering a distinct opportunity amidst a packed World Tour calendar. Known for its sprinter-friendly routes, this race promises thrilling competition beyond the usual World Tour events.
The initial day of the
ZLM Tour will be a prologue and will create important differences for the overall classification. Heinkenszand will host this exciting day of racing. In Zeeland the peloton will face stage 1, in pan-flat and windy terrain. 190 meters of climbing in 202 kilometers, the finale into 's-Heerenhoek will see the first bunch sprint of the race.
Stage 2 will not be by the coast, could be a more calm day in the peloton. The finale will be in Buchten whilst the final kilometers will take place in a small 8-kilometer circuit. Just over 200 meters of climbing on this day, stage 3 of the
ZLM Tour will feature a small cobbled section which will be the most noteworthy moment of the day. Another sprint is expected in Roosendaal. The ZLM Tour will end in Oosterhout, in what is a smaller day on the bike, and will see another small circuit leading the riders into the end of the race.
