On the 19th of March we've got Milano-Torino, a classic that has been moved into early in the season recently and returns to it's origins as a climbers' race. We preview the race ahead.

The first 150 kilometers of the race are as simple as it goes. There is not a single climb or major feature to note, it's pan-flat until the riders enter Torino and then tackle the final circuit - two ascents of the Superga ascent.

The Italian climb is worthy of a monument almost, everytime there is a race there, there is spectacle. It is 4.8 kilometers at 9.2%, a steep and consistent climb. The fact that the riders enter it very fresh means we usually see crazy power numbers but also the climb usually makes a lot of differences between even the best.

What about Astana? Tejada was pretty impressive in PN and Fortunato too, he had a solid ride on the only real mountain stage of 2025 TA. And there's also Ulissi.
