Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes is the last of the Ardennes classics for the women's peloton. Taking place on the 21st of April, it brings to a closure a long period of spring classics with a bang. We
preview the race ahead.
As we read on cyclinguptodate.com, this race could be named Bastogne - Liège actually, starting in the city right by border with Luxembourg. It is the same finale as the men's race featuring plenty climbs.
These include the Côte de la Redoute (1.5Km at 9.1%) and the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons (1.2Km at 11%), alongside it's many other small and explosive ascents, each can be decisive for the race - before the downhill finale into Liège.
