The Vuelta Femenina 2025 will start in Barcelona next May 4 and will have a total of 7 stages. The race will feature many of the best stars of women's cycling, with Demi Vollering as the main favorite for the final victory.
Watch out for Vollering's rivalry, which means that the Dutchwoman's title defense will not be easy despite the absence of Katarzyna Niewiadoma. All eyes are on Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, whose racing alongside the legendary Marianne Vos. Juliette Labous and Évita Muzic return after being 4th and 5th last year.
Movistar Team wants to make the most of its spectacular winter transfer market, and will take Marlen Reusser as the main asset to compete in the general classification. The Swiss rider will be joined in the line-up by British rider Cat Ferguson, the great pearl of world cycling, who will surely try to win a stage. Liane Lippert, who has stages in Giro and Tour and who will try to close the triplet this year, closes the great trio of leaders.

Profiles

Short and explosive team time-trial to start the race. Not very technical route starting and finishing from Barcelona.
Stage 1 - Barcelona - Barcelona, 8 kilometers
Stage 1 - Barcelona - Barcelona, 8 kilometers
A medium mountain stage with a hard start and a second mountain pass that could favor a breakaway. The final part is favorable and perfect for the sprinters to play for the win if they have controlled the possible breakaway.
Stage 2 - Molins de Rei > Sant Boi de Llobregat, 99 kilometers
Stage 2 - Molins de Rei > Sant Boi de Llobregat, 99 kilometers
Stage without too much history also in theory good for the sprinters in which only the wind could end with the final script of sprint in the streets of the beautiful Huesca.
Stage 3 - Barbastro - Huesca, 132 kilometers
Stage 3 - Barbastro - Huesca, 132 kilometers
A tough medium mountain stage that can generate the first differences if the favorites go on the attack. Watch out for the second category Moncayo at the halfway point of the race. El Buste will be crowned at 10 km from the finish, which will probably decide the winner of the stage if someone does not dare on the descent to the end.
Stage 4 - Pedrola - Borja, 111 kilometers
Stage 4 - Pedrola - Borja, 111 kilometers
Traditional stage of the Vuelta a Burgos with the mythical ascent to Las Lagunas de Neila in the final part that will undoubtedly do a lot of damage to the overall. A tough stage because before the Lagunas there will be the second category Alto de Rozavientos, which could start to hurt.
Stage 5 - Golmayo - Lagunas de Neila, 119 kilometers
Stage 5 - Golmayo - Lagunas de Neila, 119 kilometers
Rest for the overall before the final battle with a day that should be quiet with a basically flat profile in which the sprinters should have their last chance.
Stage 6 - Becerril de campos - Baltanás (126 km)
Stage 6 - Becerril de campos - Baltanás (126 km)
A stage to finish La Vuelta Femenina with a day that will be a constant up and down, especially in the final part with the chain of 3 passes to the finish: Alto de la Colladona of second category and the first Alto de la Colladiella and the final finish in Cotobello.
Stage 7 - La Robla - Cotobello. Asturias, 152 kilometers
