After two stages where the puncheurs, stage-racer and time-trialists had a say in the fight for the stage win, the sprinters will finally have a chance of their own as the first flat bunch sprint of the race will be hard to disrupt, as the race has it's final ride in Hungary.
The day where the sprinters will be unmatched, as the race says goodbye to Hungary after three days of racing. Before they do though, the fast men will have an opportunity to take over the spotlight, as the 201-kilometer long stage features no meaningful climbing.
Stage 3: Kaposvár - Balatonfüred, 201.4 kilometers
Into the town of Balatonfüred the riders will find the finale. A simple one, with no technical aspect, close to as safe as possible. It should be a regular sprint finish, where the strongest and most experienced leadouts will be able to deliver their men properly.
