Pello Bilbao and Phil Bauhaus Bahrain Victorious at Tour Down Under

Bahrain Victorious has released its lineup for the Tour Down Under. Pello Bilbao and Phil Bauhaus will lead the team.

The race marks the onset of a new season, and the team certainly hopes to jump off on the right foot. It will be Pello Bilbao's Tour Down Under debut, and he is targeting the general classification.

Hermann Pernsteiner and Kamil Gradek will support Bilbao throughout the week-long race. Phil Bauhaus will be targeting stage victories with the help of Jasha Sütterlin and newcomer Nikias Arndt. Australian rider Cameron Scott completes the squad.

The sports director is confident in the team's capabilities and expects positive results in their season-opening adventure. “Team Bahrain Victorious has been working really hard out of the European winter to get ready for the Tour Down Under. As we all know, this race hasn’t been on for a couple of years because of the coronavirus. We are really looking forward to 2023.”
