Ivan Sosa's last few years with Movistar Team have been far from the level that the Colombian rider promised at the time. At 26 years of age, he leaves the team through the back door.
Two weeks ago our CiclismoAlDía colleagues reported that Sosa was negotiating his arrival at Kern Pharma. Now, the Navarre team confirms that the deal has been closed with the official announcement of the signing, and that the Colombian signs for one year.
It is also advanced that the proposal of Kern Pharma had been on the table of Ivan Sosa since August. Although EF Education - EasyPost tried to sign him in mid-September, the Navarre team has won the race for the incorporation of a cyclist who will try to offer something of the level many expected of him when he entered the professional world with INEOS Grenadiers in 2019.
