Movistar Team confirms Enric Mas, Nairo Quintana, Einer Rubio and Pelayo Sanchez for the Tour de Suisse

Movistar Team has unveiled its seven for Tour de Suisse and confirmed what we were looking forward to see and that will probably happen again in the Vuelta a Espana: first race together for Nairo Quintana and Enric Mas.

The Mallorcan, who will be the leader of the telephone team at the Tour de France, will land in Switzerland with the goal of achieving a great result that will give him and his team UCI points and confidence for the Grande Boucle. To do so, he will have the support of the strong block of the riders who recently completed Giro d'Italia: the aforementioned Nairo, the seventh overall in the Corsa Rosa Einer Rubio and the stage winner Pelayo Sánchez.

With the memory of Gino Mäder always present, the 2024 Tour de Suisse offers an exciting route with multiple mountain-top finishes, including a 15.6 km final time trial in Villars-sur-Ollon on Sunday, June 16. Without descents in the finals of stages, this edition will put climbers and GC specialists in the spotlight. It will be a crucial opportunity for Enric Mas to show his form ahead of the Tour de France which starts on June 29.

A strong team in a race without top riders in which the main rival for the victory should be Adam Yates, third in the last Tour. Along with the aforementioned will race the Tour de Suisse the domestiques Nelson Oliveira, Jorge Arcas and Johan Jacobs.
