This live Tour de France medical reports and withdrawals hub is updated throughout the race with the latest confirmed injuries, DNS, DNF and rider abandonments. As teams release medical updates and riders undergo further assessment after crashes, illness or other race incidents, this article will track all verified developments affecting the 2026 Tour de France peloton.

Three XDS Astana rider crashed during the stage, but finished the race. Groupama-FDJ United also saw two riders crash - Guillaume Martin and Clement Berthet fell but finished the stage. The French team later confirmed that Berthet would abandon before stage 2. Matej Mohoric was also a victim of a crash on the stage.

Whilst the time limit was set at 37:37 minutes, the Team Jayco AlUla rider arrived over 46 minutes after stage winner Mads Pedersen, and has been removed from the race.
The stage also saw the crash of Briton Jake Stewart who underwent an on-site concussion protocol test; the NSN Cycling Team rider fell alongside other riders such as George Bennett, Matej Mohoric, Simone Velasco and Silvan Dillier.
