The sixth stage of the Tour de France had a very fast and chaotic race. The early hours of the race saw constant attacking involving the likes of Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard and Wout van Aert. The Slovenian took the win in the end, winning the reduced bunch sprint up the final hilltop.
It was a day without too many incidents, however four riders have been present in the day's medical report.

(164) Reinardt Janse van Rensburg - Multiple road rash.
(123) Kobe Goossens - Big wound in the left knee.
(161) Caleb Ewan - Small wound in the right knee.
As for the fines, the were attributed to the following:
(184) Mathieu Burgaudeau - Shelter behind a vehicle. Penalties: 200CHF fine, 30" in general classification, 10 points in points classification, 1 point in KOM classification.
(2) George Bennett - Shelter behind a vehicle. Penalties: 200CHF fine, 1' in general classification, 10 points in points classification, 1 points in KOM classification.
DS TotalEnergies - Benoit Genauzeau & DS UAE Team Emirates Andrej Hauptman. Penalties: 500CHF.
(178) Jasper Stuyven - Urinating in public. Pentalties: 300CHF fine.
