Mark Cavendish looking to spark winning ambitions at Milano-Torino

Mark Cavendish is yet to take a win for Astana Qazaqstan Team, but today he faces a good opportunity as he leads the Kazakh team at Milano-Torino where he was crowned winner last year.
Cavendish will face a pan-flat race which will suit his capabilities. The Manxman rode to two Top 10 results at the UAE Tour. After an illness, he continued his racing schedule at Tirreno-Adriatico, looking to build form towards his spring goals which include the Italian race. He will have the presence of a strong leadout including Cees Bol who was signed with a similar role.

Some of the riders which have raced with him over the last weeks will join him, such as Gleb Syritsa, Yevgeniy Fedorov and David Martinelli. The lineup is completed by Davide Martinelli and Simone Velasco.
