- That’s what UAE want to promote, if possible on 8 lane superhighways ;-) It’s his right to avoid races he doesn’t feel he can focus on riding in, you rarely see F1 drivers do rallyes or drag racing in between or vice-versa, it’s kind of odd in cycling we expect riders we wish to see compete against each other accept any place as meeting ground. Perhaps we are more spoilt than the riders who only ever trained on good roads in safe conditions? PS any serious father should/will be asking themselves questions each time they race. Whenever I get pressured by some youngster fighting for position dangerously (offen pointlessly), he gets my space. It rarely makes any difference at the finish, it’s more out of fear through lack of self-confidence or realisation of how pathetic the risk/reward ratio is that this jostling happens, and there’s not even the excuse of possible financial incentivesMistermaumau09-03-2026
- So they get this additional sponsor, they don't have any good riders right now 🤔 - I think they do, performing is a starter as they don't seem to win anything of note, big Classics or being up there in 'tours, if not winning them, it's not like they don't have the talent.. do they just dress pretty and ride around trying to look cool ? - think they need to push the pedals!

- You’re probably right and hopefully, what’s more Decathlon is one of the few sponsors who can actually market a future Seixas into revenue growth, in fact, with him on board already, if he wins a TdF, it will alliw them to fast forward into new markets. For the brand it is it’s surprising how few countries they’re present in, they’re like the LIDL of sports.Mistermaumau09-03-2026

- I am quite frustrated at the French fans for always destroying the genuine Tour de France hopes they've had. I don't really care what Seixas does, whether he stays in Decathlon or not, as long as he doesn't buckle under the pressure, even if he changes his nationality to portuguese [which would be hilarious]
