The UCI have revealed the teams that have successfully applied for licenses at World Tour and Pro Team level ahead of the 2024 campaign with the former Jumbo-Visma notably registered as Blanco Pro Cycling.
The Dutch-based outfit will be named Visma - Lease a Bike in 2024 but has been registered as Blanco Pro Cycling, the name of the paying agent as a working title for the team with the announcement of the official sponsor names expected at another time.
In total, 18 teams have successfully applied for a World Tour license with all the expected names involved. At Pro Team level, there are a total of 17 teams including newcomers, TDT-Unibet.
TDT-Unibet, currently a continental team and run by YouTube star Bas Tietema had previously announced their intention to take the next step in their development and with a ProTeam license, can participate in WorldTour race such as the Tour of Flanders, Amstel Gold Race and the Tour de France if they receive invitations of course.
