The Dutchman made his pro debut with Jumbo in 2012, having spent five seasons - where all of his career wins took place - with the team. Kelderman moved away into Team DSM and
BORA - hansgrohe afterwards, with a lot of crashes marking his career, however with Top5 places in all Grand Tours. Now, with that goal achieved, he looks to return to his home team looking to benefit from it's recent success.
"The team has made progress and I'm curious to see where it will lead. Team Jumbo-Visma is an ambitious team and I hope to contribute to their goals. I think I still have room for growth and show great things," he added. He will be a domestique for the team's main leaders, however should simultaneously have opportunities to show his quality as he does in BORA.
"It goes without saying that the squad has recently enjoyed great success and I hope to support the guys who made it happen in the big races. I also hope to pass on my experience to the young riders. I'm really looking forward to it," Kelderman concluded. He has started yesterday the Vuelta a Espana where he will be riding in support of Jai Hindley and Sergio Higuita.
