INEOS Grenadiers' 19-year-old prodigy Joshua Tarling has once again proven his immense talent as the Welshman defeated the likes of world champion Remco Evenepoel to take victory against the clock at the Chrono des Nations.
One of the final chances for time-trial specialists to get a big win in 2024, many of the disciplines' biggest and best names were part of an all-star startlist. Stefan Bissegger was the best of the rest in third, but with nearly a minute separating him and the leading duo the difference was stark.
With Tarling the penultimate rider going down the ramp when he crossed the line in 52:02, the clock was ticking for Evenepoel. The world champion was unable to beat the European champion however, finishing 13 seconds slower than Tarling who took victory.
