Jai Hindley finished third in Tirreno-Adriatico, while only Jonas Vingegaard and Juan Ayuso were better. It's a no cigar for the Australian of BORA - hansgrohe, but he still looks back at the week in Italy positively regardless.
Hindley eventually finished almost two minutes behind Vingegaard. The 27-year-old climber, together with his team, made a good impression. "We can be happy with our performance as a team. It was also fun to ride with a lot of teammates who were also there in the 2022 Giro."
"It's nice that I also tried it on Saturday. So we can't have any regrets, we did everything we could. Vingegaard was unapproachable. I am very happy with my own performance. It gives a big confidence boost for the rest of the season."
