Although Remco Evenepoel wasn't able to secure the Maillot Jaune at Paris-Nice 2024, despite an ultra-attacking ride on the final stage this Sunday afternoon, he didn't leave France empty-handed.

Taking his first-ever win on French soil after outsprinting Matteo Jorgenson in the final stage, Evenepoel also did enough to secure victory in the points classification ahead of Mattias Skjelmose, Jorgenson and Mads Pedersen.

Before he went up on stage with his new jersey to celebrate, Evenepoel was caught by Soudal - Quick-Step's social media and the Belgian offered a brilliant response. "I feel like Mark Cavendish," Evenepoel beamed.
