The
European Championships will take place from the 1st to the 5th of October in Drôme-Ardèche, France, and will feature many of the world's best climbers. Here is when and how to watch the races, including in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
The race will be broadcast on the traditional channels, most notably Discovery, MAX and Eurosport. As always, you can always follow the 2025 European Championships on CyclingUpToDate with our full coverage of the race.
It will be possible to follow the events on FloBikes in the United States and Canada; TNT Sports for those in the United Kingdom; Stan Sports for those in Australia; Eurosport in general throughout mainland Europe; Whilst several countries have their own broadcast of the race such as the home nation France (L'Équipe), Italy (Rai); Netherlands (NPO 1) or Belgium which will have multiple channels broadcasting different events.
The event starts off on Wednesday, the 1st of October with all of the individual time-trial events including the women and men juniors in the morning from 09:30 to 12:30; the under-23's will race from 12:00 to 14:05 and finally the women elite will start their race at 14:20CET... The men's elite event will take place from 15:45 to 17:00CET.
On the 2nd of October the riders will tackle the Mixed Relay team time-trial, with events for both junior and elite riders. The first will take place from 11:00 to 13:20 whilst the elite rider teams, made of three men and three women, will take place from 15:45 to 17:00CET.
On the 3rd of October, Friday, the women under-23 will kick off the action early in the morning at 09:00 to finish at around 11:40CET. Women Junior (12:40 to 14:20) and men Junior (15:35 to 18:20) will complete another busy day in France.
On Saturday the 4th of October the men under-23 will race from 09:00 to 12:20 and shortly after the women's elite event will take place from 14:05 to 17:00. Lastly on the final day, Sunday the 5th of October, the roads will be used by the men's elite road race which will take place from 11:50 to 17:00CET.
