Guillaume Martin is one of the most popular and successful French riders in the current peloton, but his professional life is not just within cycling. Martin has today received a literary award in the French Academy for his work in La Société du peloton.
His new book has gathered a lot of attention within the writing community and has been widely complemented. Following his first book 'Socrates on the Bike', the Cofidis rider launched his second book in late 2021. Two years, he is acknowledged with this award. He currently prepares for the 2024 season where he is expected to aim for the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana. His start to the season is not yet decided at the time being.
