INEOS Grenadiers have their leaders set up for the 2024 season in the Grand Tours. The plans largely follow the 2023 setup, one which worked quite well and the British team is looking to replicate.
There, Geraint Thomas almost finally won the Giro d'Italia after many years of searching for the triumph, but finished second as a stronger Primoz Roglic overtook him in the Monte Lussari time-trial. The build-up proved perfect however for the Welshman who showed his best level throughout the three weeks. In 2024 he will return to Italy with intentions of being in the final podium. Filippo Ganna will chase stage wins and support Thomas, possibly chase the sprints too.

Meanwhile, Carlos Rodríguez and Tom Pidcock will aim for the GC at the Tour de France. Rodríguez was fifth this past summer already including a stage win in Morzine. He is a reliable contender for the Top5, whilst Tom Pidcock will look to cement his stage-racing abilities. Although he will aim for the MTB Olympic Games, he will look to go all-out on the road in France, trying to fight for a classification - something which looked to be possible in 2023, staying in the Top10 until stage 13.
Egan Bernal will try to race for the GC at the Vuelta a España, the only Grand Tour that is not yet in his palmarès. Whilst difficult, he looks to regain a good level throughout 2024 and should also take part in the Tour de France as a supporting rider.
