Filippo Ganna is still under contract with
INEOS Grenadiers until the end of 2023, but after that Trek-Segafredo would love to take over the Italian rider. The American-Italian team would have made Ganna a substantial offer. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ganna could sign a contract with Trek-Segafredo for five years, from 2024 to 2028. His annual salary would be more than two million euros and he would become the frontman. However, INEOS Grenadiers is also keen to extend Ganna's commitment. The Italian, who has represented the British team since 2019, could stay until 2025 or 2026.
Next Sunday, Ganna will be back in action. He will start in the Criterium du Dauphiné, after which he will prepare for the
Tour de France. It is said that the world time trial champion will attack the world time trial record on 23 or 24 August in the Swiss town of Grenchen.
