BREAKING: Victoire de Ethan Vernon (Soudal-QuickStep) Ethan Vernon (Team Soudal-QuickStep) wins Stage 1 of #TdRwanda23
Soudal - Quick-Step have created a development team into 2023, and some of it's riders have travelled to the Tour du Rwanda. Ethan Vernon from the elite team also made the trip, and has won stage 1 in a bunch sprint.
Vernon was the main favourite and the fastest in the bunch sprint of the opening stage of the Rwandan race. The Briton beat TotalEnergie's Emilien Jeannière and African Continental champion Henok Mulubrhan in the sprint.
