The race will begin with a 10 km individual time trial between Irun and Olaberria on Monday 1, setting a demanding tone from the start. Throughout the week, the intensity will gradually increase, with stages going from less to more difficult, culminating in the decisive day in Eibar on Saturday 6. On this final day, riders will face seven mountain passes over 137 km, including notorious climbs such as Krabelin and Ixua, promising an epic finale to an already legendary competition.
The diversity of terrain, from the speed of the flat stages to the steep mountain ramps, will challenge the riders at every stage of the race. The inclusion of two stages on French soil will add a new strategic element, further elevating the prestige of the
Itzulia Basque Country as one of the most exciting and unpredictable races on the international cycling calendar.
