Bradley Wiggins's son Ben Wiggins secures victory in European Track Championships

Ben Wiggins, son of former Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins, has won European Track Championships. It’s his first major victory in the international event.

Ben scored 7 points out of 10 in the 25-kilometer race to claim the victory. Before winning the European championship, his highest international result was a sixth-place finish in the TT in the Trophée Centre Morbihan junior Nations Cup event in France earlier this season.

He also finished second in the junior TT at the British National Road Championships earlier this year. He currently rides for the British development team Fensham Howes-MAS Design.
